The paper recycling process involves multiple handling stages, each using a different specialized machine. Here's a closer look:
Collection and transport phase
Packaging: Pack collected paper in small packages at waste collection points to reduce the amount of paper that can be transported and stored. There are various types of baler, including manual baler, semi-automatic baler, and fully automated baler, which can be selected based on the amount of waste paper to be disposed of. For example, some large waste paper recycling stations use fully automatic balers. They can quickly and efficiently compress large amounts of waste paper into neat little packets.
Classification stage
Manual Sorting Tables: This is basic sorting equipment. Staff begin by sorting waste paper on desks, sorting impurities such as plastic, metal and rope, and sorting paper of different quality such as newspapers, books and cardboard.
Automatic Sorting Equipment: using optical sensor, weight sensors and other technologies, automatic sorting equipment can automatically identify and sort different quality of waste paper. For example, some advanced classification systems can scan the characteristics of waste paper, such as color, texture, thickness, etc., to classify waste paper accurately, greatly improving the efficiency and accuracy of classification.
Pulping stage
Pulp: is a key equipment in paper recycling process, used to break down the sorted waste paper into fibrous form, mixed with water to form paper pulp. There are many kinds of pulping equipment, such as hydraulic pulping machines, high-frequency defibrillators, etc. Hydraulic pulpers produces a powerful vortex through the high-speed rotation of the rotor, so that waste paper is rapid pulping in water. On the other hand, High-frequency defibrators uses high frequency vibration and shearing force to further defibrillate pulp and improve its quality.
Screening and Purification Stage
Pressure Screens: Used to remove coarse impurities and incomplete defibrillation from pulp, which is pressurized through a screen plate, fine fibers and qualified water pass through screen holes, while retaining impurities and larger fibers to ensure purity and uniformity of paper pulp.
1.Crusher: Crusher uses centrifugal force to separate heavy impurities such as sand and metal particles from paper pulp. Pulp enters the duster at a certain rate. Under centrifugal force, large amounts of impurities are thrown against the walls and deposited, while clean paper pulp flows from the top.
Purification Equipment: in addition to the above equipment, there are special purification devices, such as flotation deinking machines. They can introduce air into paper pulp to remove ink from pulp, so that ink particles adhere to air bubbles, float to the surface of pulp, for the purpose of deinking and purification.
Thickening and Dewatering Stage
Thickening agent: used to increase paper pulp concentration and reduce the burden of subsequent dewatering processes. Common thickeners are gravity thickeners and vacuum thickeners. Gravity thickeners rely on gravity to thicken water naturally deposited in paper pulp. However, Vacuum thickeners reduce pressure on paper pulp surface by vacuum suction, accelerating water evaporation and separation.
Dehydration equipment: These will further remove moisture from paper pulp and allow the paper to dry properly. Commonly used dewatering machines has screw dewatering machines, vacuum dewatering machines, press dewatering machines. Screw dewatering machines use the rotation of screw blades to propel paper pulp forward while squeezing out water. Vacuum dewatering machines adopts vacuum vacuum suction water paper pulp. Press dewatering machines drains water from the paper pulp by mechanical pressure.
Papermaking Stage
Paper Maker: Core device for converting processed paper pulp into paper. Paper machine consists of several parts, including a headbox, wire section, pressing section, drying section, a calender section and winding section. Pulp is sprayed evenly from the top of the carton onto the wire segment, forming a wet paper net on the wire section. Then, by further pressing the rod to dehydrate, the dryness of the wet paper mesh is increased. Then go into the drying section and dry it with hot air or steam to the desired moisture content. Finally, through the indentation part of indentation section the surface surface smoothness glossiness, then through the indentation section indentation section into paper rolls.
