The core advantage of a non-stretch bag making machine (also known as a zero-tension bag making machine) lies in its ability to minimize film stretching during operation and sealing. This makes it especially suitable for producing thick bags, heavy-duty bags, and plastic bags that demand high standards for seal appearance and strength.
To operate this equipment effectively and ensure production quality, here are the key points you should focus on:
Parameters & Adjustment
The sealing knife and cooling system are the heart of a non-stretch bag making machine, making precise parameter settings crucial:
1.Fine-tuning Sealing Knife Parameters: To achieve a strong and neat seal, you need to set the dwell time at the lower position (sealing time) and the dwell time at the upper position (cooling time) based on the bag's thickness. Allowing the seal to cool completely before feeding the material effectively prevents deformation caused by stretching.
2.Synchronous Sealing & Separation: High-quality non-stretch machines typically feature devices for synchronous heating, synchronous sealing pressure, and synchronous separation. This design ensures that when sealing thick materials (e.g., single layer over 150 microns), the seal line remains unstretched, and the material won't stick to the sealing base during feeding, thus preventing material breakage.
3.Temperature & Pressure Settings: Set the heat sealing temperature (e.g., usually between 120-150°C for PE film) and sealing pressure appropriately according to the specific film material (such as PE, PP, etc.).
Daily Operation & Maintenance
Standardized operating procedures and regular maintenance can greatly extend the machine's lifespan and reduce the defect rate:
1.Pre-start Inspection: Ensure stable power voltage, reliable grounding, check that air source pressure meets standards (usually 0.6-0.8 MPa), and verify that the emergency stop button is functional.
2.Film Tension Control: When installing the film roll, be sure to adjust the tension through the tension control system. Uneven tension or misaligned guide rollers can easily cause the film to deviate or wrinkle during operation.
3. Photoelectric Tracking Calibration: Regularly clean the lens of the photoelectric eye (color mark sensor) to ensure it accurately tracks the color marks on printed films, guaranteeing absolute precision in bag length and cutting position.
4.Regular Cleaning & Lubrication: After each workday, thoroughly clean residual film and carbon deposits from the heat sealing knife and cutter to prevent compromising seal quality. Check cutter sharpness weekly, and lubricate transmission chains, bearings, and other components monthly.
