Sufficient and uniform cooling is the prerequisite for high-speed production. If the film bubble cannot be cooled and shaped timely, the bubble will shake, stick or break easily. Operators have to reduce the traction and extrusion speed to guarantee qualified striped film, which directly cuts down the hourly output.
Moreover, the double-color co-extruded film carries more heat than single-layer film, so it puts higher requirements on the cooling system. Insufficient cooling will cause distorted stripes, color mixing and wrinkled finished products, resulting in a 15% to 30% drop in actual production capacity.
Main factors for cooling performance:
1.Air volume and wind pressure of cooling blower
2.Air ring structure and even air outlet around die head
3.Ambient temperature of production workshop
4.Equipped with chiller for cold air circulation or not
5.Cooling stroke height of the film tower
