Daily Maintenance of Small Film Blowing Machine
Before Startup
• Check power supply, heating elements, cooling fan and inverter.
• Clean hopper to remove impurities; no metal or sand allowed into the screw.
• Inspect traction unit, winding system and air ring for smooth operation.
During Operation
• Start the screw only after temperature reaches set value to avoid abrasion.
• Monitor bubble stability and film thickness uniformity.
• Check for abnormal noise or overheating in gearbox and bearings.
After Shutdown
• Clean residual plastic in the barrel to prevent carbon buildup.
• Wipe die head, air ring and rollers to keep them clean and smooth.
• Turn off main power and cover the machine for dust protection.
Regular Maintenance
• Weekly: Clean filter screen, adjust chain and belt tension.
• Monthly: Check or replace gear oil, lubricate bearings.
• Quarterly: Inspect heating coils, thermocouples and wiring for aging.
• Long-term storage: Apply anti-rust oil on die head and cover the machine.
