Common faults and solutions of bagging machines are as follows:
1.Sealing-Related Faults
Sealed or bagged
Reasons: high/ low Sealing temperature, residual sealing interference, inappropriate sealing pressure.
Solution: Adjust the sealing temperature to a suitable material range (e.g., 120-150°C for PE), clean the sealing band and adjust the pressure according to the material and thickness of the bag.
Inaccurate Sealing Temperature Control
The reason: Temperature sensor malfunction, the controller is not set correctly.
Solution: Check the sensor is functioning properly and calibrate the temperature controller settings.
Deformed or jammed heat sealing blade
Reason: Heat seal blade bending or blade edge deformation.
Solution: using light the a light penetrating method to check the bending condition of the heat seal blade and to repair the blade edge flatness. If the heat seal blade seal is not smooth, please replace or repair.
2.Location and Sizing Faults
Inaccurate or misaligned bag
Reason: Sensor position deflection, conveyor belt/chain loosening or damage.
Solution: Adjust sensor position, correctly check cloth bag accuracy, check and replace loose conveyor belt or chain. Pocket length uneven
Reason: photoelectric sensitivity not enough, feed speed does not match discharge speeds, large pre-adjusted size error.
Solutions: Adjust the photoelectric eye sensitivity or replace the photoelectric switch; loosen thin-film pressure rods and check discharge performance; reset bag length or adjust pressure device.
Uneven product length (side sealer)
Reason: The compression spring is not tightened, causing rubber roller to skid and clamp too tight.
Solution: Adjust tension of compression springs and clip.
III. Cutting-Related Faults
No Cold Cutters cuts.
The reason: the knife is not sharp, the upper and lower blades are not balanced (such as blade slider wear).
Solution: Grind or replace tool, adjust the balance of upper and lower blades.
Hot Cutters not cutting or bursting
The reason: heat cutter and suction arm are not in the right positioning (for example, suction arm does not feed the material immediately after the heat cutter is cut).
Solution: Adjust the positioning of the hot cutter and suction arm to ensure suction arm delivers the material immediately after the hot cutter cuts. Cutting system clogged
Reason: Cut blade residue, bag material too thick / thin.
Solution: Wash the residue of the cutting system and check the material thickness to meet the machine requirements.

The reason: cloth bag material does not meet requirements (such as thickness or hardness abnormality). Solution: Choose materials that meet machine specifications and check the sensors are functioning properly.

Environmental Impacts (temperature, humidity)
Reason: High/ low working temperature or high humidity.
Solution: Adjust the working environment to an appropriate range (e.g. 20-30°C, humidity ≤ 60%), or use an environmentally adaptable machine.
Film Breakage or Leakage
Reason: poor film quality, tension adjustment.
Solution: Replace high quality film, adjust tension control system.

Self-Adhesive Strip Misalignment or Spring Breakage
Cause: improper use of self-adhesive tape or uneven materials, resulting in rubber roller blockage.
Solution: Ensure self-adhesive tape is applied evenly to prevent material lumps from entering the rubber roller.
