The bag making process typically has several primary functions,including material feeding,sealing,cutting,and sizing.
In the feed section,the roll-fed flexible packaging film is unwound through a feed roll.Feed rolls are used to move the film within the machine to perform the desired operation.Feeding is usually a batch operation,and other operations such as sealing,cutting,etc.are carried out during the feeding stop.Dancing rolls are used to maintain constant tension on the film web.Feeders and dancing rollers are required to maintain tension and critical feed accuracy.
In the sealing section,a temperature-controlled sealing element is moved into contact with the membrane for a specified period of time in order to properly seal the material.Sealing temperature and sealing duration vary by material type and need to be kept constant at different machine speeds.Sealing element configuration and associated machine format depend on the type of seal specified by the bag design.In most machine modes of operation,the sealing process is accompanied by the cutting is accompanied by the cutting process,both of which are performed when the feed is complete.
During cutting and bagging operations,operations such as sealing are often performed during the non-feed cycle of the machine.Similar to the sealing process,the cutting and bagging operations also determine the optimum machine from.In addition to these basic functions,the implementation of additional operations such as zippers,perforated bags,tote bags,vandal-resistant seals,spouts,crown handling,etc.,may depend on the design of the bag.An accessory attached to the base machine is responsible for performing such additional operations.
