Plastic Polybag Side Sealing Machine is a computer-controlled heat sealing and hot cutting bag making equipment. It is specially designed to produce side-sealed plastic bags made of OPP, BOPP and PE films. It can be equipped with self-adhesive tape attachment device to manufacture self-adhesive garment packaging bags, clear jewelry bags and small commodity packaging bags, widely used in packaging industry.
Plastic Polybag Side Sealing Machine adopts servo length setting control system for stable operation and precise bag length tolerance within ±0.5mm. The heat sealing temperature and heat sealing time are NOT the same for different plastic films. Each film material has its own melting characteristic, so operators need to adjust temperature and sealing time accordingly.
- BOPP / OPP film: Typical sealing temperature 110~150℃, sealing time 0.05~0.2s. OPP has a thin heat-seal layer. Too high temperature will burn the film; too long sealing time causes wrinkling.
- PE film: Typical sealing temperature 130~180℃, sealing time 0.1~0.3s. PE needs higher heat and longer contact time to get strong seal.
- CPP film: Typical sealing temperature 120~160℃, sealing time 0.08~0.25s.
The heat sealing temperature can be set separately for upper and lower sealing knives from ambient temperature up to 300℃. Operators can fine-tune the temperature according to different film materials and thickness, to avoid melting or weak sealing. The heat sealing time is linked with machine running speed, adjustable between 0.01 second and 0.5 second. Longer sealing time can be set for thicker films to achieve strong sealing. The whole machine is fitted with unwinding tension adjustment mechanism to keep film feeding flat without deviation. The temperature of sealing knives can be adjusted independently, ensuring firm and smooth sealing and clean cutting edges without burrs. The machine is equipped with counting function, which will stop automatically when reaching the preset quantity, making it easy for workers to collect finished bags, greatly improving production efficiency and cutting labor costs.

The machine is packed with PE stretch film for full wrapping and secured on wooden pallets. This packaging method offers reliable protection against dust, surface scratches and minor collisions throughout storage and transit, keeping both the machine's exterior and key internal components in good condition.
Every handling step, from in‑factory warehousing, forklift transfer and truck loading to container sealing, strictly follows heavy‑duty equipment shipping standards. Together with vehicle‑mounted fixing fittings, the packaging greatly reduces vibration and shock damage caused by bumpy transportation.
